THE TRAVELLER

©1982.

"Though I be Orion, I am Orpheus;
these lions I have hunted for my own.
I have been, too, Saint Mercurius,
Englishmen have known me as St. George.
To Teutons I was Thor, Egyptians Horus,
but in my guise as Christ most felt mankind.
Muhammet became my prophet;
Now I am known as Einstein."
