RCMP Memorial at ‘Depot’ Div.
‘Depot’ Division in Regina, Saskatchewan is the Training
Centre for RCMP members. ‘Depot’ holds a special place in
the heart of all RCMP members. In the centre of the
training facility near the Parade Square is the RCMP
Granite Memorial which lists all RCMP members who have died
on duty beginning in 1873. Each September, a special parade
and Chapel service is held at the RCMP Memorial to
commemorate all these members whose lives were unexpectedly
lost. In addition, every Cadet at ‘Depot’ never fails to
respectfully salute the Memorial each time it is passed.
