Vets' Corner

Message from National President

Dear Joe,

I am very pleased to see the website which you have developed and I congratulate all Vets as they continue their work on the National RCMP Graves Inspection and Maintenance Program.

It is clear that many, many Vets have an interest in the duty of locating all our deceased members’ grave sites so that they can be well maintained. It is also apparent that all Vets who are working on the program, including: Dave Holmes in Charlottetown, Bob Kraus in Kingston, Jack O’Reilly in Toronto and Bernie Gagnon in Gatineau have been a great source of help and encouragement to you. This collaboration underlines the benefits of Vets working together towards a mutual goal.

I am confident that the website will help identify and locate many of our grave sites. At the same time, it will also eliminate a lot of confusion which presently exists over the location of grave sites.

I appreciate that your website is still under construction, however, I wish you well in your ongoing efforts in developing this valuable asset.

Once again, congratulations on the development of www.rcmpgraves.com and good luck to all our Vets in their endeavours.

Best Regards,

Rick Morris
National President
RCMP Veterans’ Association.
