Anti-Racism Campaign:

 

The 32 Division C.P.L.C. supports an annual poster contest for students of local schools.  The students develop posters promoting "the Elimination of Racism".

Seniors' Issues:

 

Since 32 Division has an aging population, a sub-committee is looking at the issues that effect the elderly and the best way to handle them.  This involves communication regarding criminal activity that targets the elderly.  Traffic issues that effect the elderly, such as walking across intersections, safety in parks and driving issues are also being addressed.

Traffic Safety:

 

The 32 Division C.P.L.C. along with the 32 Division Traffic section are looking at all traffic issues that are occurring in 32 Division.  The committee discusses what the committee can do to support the police in addressing these issues as well as making the traffic department aware of any new issues arising?

 

 

       
 

Pedestrian & Vehicle Safety Project:

 

The 32 Division C.P.L.C. in partnership with Yorkdale Shopping Centre during the month of November institute a public safety awareness program to raise awareness on pedestrian & vehicle safety issues.
