 In Luke 2:52, And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. If he was God how come he had to grow in these things?

ANSWER: Jesus was more than just the Son of God,  he was also a  man.  As the Son of God, He was God. He never ceased to be what He always was and there was no change in His deity when He became incarnate as man.
     As a man he started as a new born baby and grew physically and developed like any other child.  We must be careful in thinking  that Jesus humanity was deity or His deity was humanity. He had two separate natures,  human and divine. They never mixed. Had His deity mixed with His humanity He would have cease to be God incarnate. God never changes, that is, His person. Mal.3:6
    There is no doubt there is much we do not know about the union of Deity and humanity, however, we must be careful not to mixed the two.  Jesus was not God-man, that sounds like a blend of two natures  into one. He was God and man in one person, Jesus of Nazareth.
    So his humanity had to develop. He grew physically and mentally. His humanity was as helpless when He was a week old as any other baby. He needed the same motherly care and seemed to have spent his early life working about his assumed father business in the carpenter shop.  When He was about thirty (Luke 3:23) He began His public ministry to Israel. This was when a Jewish boy had reached manhood and start life on his own.
    The only difference between His humanity and ours is that He had no sin nature. Hence, the importance of His virgin conception. He was born without sin.  In this way He could go on to be the sin bearer for sinners. He could offer Himself to God  for us without a spot or blemish. 1 Peter 1:19
    If you are not saved, then He is waiting for you to repent of your sins and trust Him as your Saviour and Lord.
The Bible says, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1 Tim. 1:15 You only need to be a sinner to be saved.
