We're still going out into the garden, getting it ready for winter, but it's already too cold for me. Even when I have my little red sweater on, I like the warm feeling inside my leader's jacket best.

Curlee thought he looked pretty handsome when his hair was short this summer ... but you should see him now! He looks like some sort of weird, hairy, piglike animal! Tell me that's not a scary face! I know I'm scared whenever I look at him ... so I try not to.
 

On my 14th birthday, August 29th, they gave me a really big tomato. I love tomatoes, but it was too big for me to eat all by myself, so I shared it with everyone ... even Curlee. He likes tomatoes too.

Curlee couldn't wait for the tomatoes to ripen. All summer long he stole the green ones that fell off the plants, and he played with them ... when he wasn't playing with his happy face foam ball, that is. He had that thing in his mouth most of the time ... whenever he wasn't biting on green tomatoes.

Curlee looks like a good boy in the picture, but he can still get pretty crazy in the garden. He runs through the flower beds, eventhough he knows he's not supposed to, and he's always stealing things, like weeds that have been pulled and thrown in a pile, or garden gloves that someone puts down for just a minute. Nothing is safe around Curlee. When he behaves badly, and won't listen to the leaders, he gets tied up for a time out. Here he is, not long after after his first full haircut. I still have my winter fur because it's still too cold for me.

Curlee loves balls, and my old kong toys too. He also loves my old squeakie toys.
Let's face it, he loves all my old toys, and that's OK, since I don't play with them anymore.

I'm posing with 15cm (6 inch) high garlic at the end of April. Don't I look tall?
