and judge us with their humanist odium.
Condemned, we are relaxed to the secular arm
to be crushed by pundits and media scrum.

They fume when we rebuff their sorority;
Then drag us through committee and through probe.
How fitting to defend the minority
by silencing the fetus and the "homophobe".

The socialist puritans of this nation
burden us with the blame of this country's schism
because we demand a Reformation
to shatter the illusion of their prism.

They will never be engineers of the soul.
We will fight their quest for control.
