There are 2 distinct programs:

Wanapitei

A quick summary includes, trips for adults, and youth in the arctic, Temagami region, Quebec, and even the states and Mexico. There are whitewater courses, rafting, canoe du nord, sea kayaking, and cross country skiing, outfitting, or come for a relaxing time fishing and hiking, and stay at the Chateau (the 2 story heritage log lodge), or the log cabin. The primary focus (at least from my perspective) is the wilderness canoe tripping, and the youth camp (available for youth 7-20).

Rivers travelled in past years, include: Coppermine (raft & canoe), Hood & Burnside, Keele, Mountain (raft & canoe), Soper (on Baffin Island !), Thelon, Nahanni, Madawaska (9 weekend whitewater canoe courses are being held), 3 and 5 day courses on the Temagami River (15 courses), Whitewater day trips on the Salmon, Moira, Black, Beaver, and Opeongo rivers, Trips to James Bay on the Partridge, Wakwayowkastic, Missinaibi, Harricanaw. Southern spring trips include the Baja mexico sea kayaking, Florida Everglades, Okeefenokee, Cumberland Island, Southeast Appalachians. Near North Ontario and Quebec trips include: Spanish, Dumoine, Noire, Sturgeon, Lady Evelyn, Temagami & Obabika old growth.

Also of interest may be the birch bark building course, the cross country skiing, the 26' Canoe du Nord tracing the voyageur's route, the many youth leadership training programs (ages 16+) including: Mountain river, James Bay, Northern Quebec, and the 52 day North West Territories trip. Private outfitting, canoe rentals, and full trip preparation are also available. Sandy Inlet
