Easy', (meets, helps, and befriends
it's owner, Jonny), uses his
intelligence, plus his computer and
research skills to study the art
of investigation.

time developing weapon skills. Keeps
a preference for real guns.

specializing in missing persons,

A Note on Shamus' Disadvantages
Absent Minded - unless focused,
directed on a case, can lose himself
in pictures or paragraphs of his
memory.
Bad Temper - outbursts usually
linked to his code of honor
Code of Honor - Friendship and
loyalty - has few friends, Jonny
Archer and Cherry Roberts for
now, but extremely loyal to them. Will
broach little if any criticism
towards them, and will take measures
if threats or worse are made.
Will go to great lengths for them.
Curious - Has, by now, touched
every button on the Formosan, but so
many other buttons, so little
time! (sigh)
Flashbacks - Unlike his absent
minded comfortable drifts, these a
sudden, and often disturbing
flashes not from the 22nd century.

but could be scenes of his former
life back on earth, c. 1960's -
90's; in the form of music, TV, etc.,
could provide hints on his
current situation/case, or be totally

Low Pain Threshold - Does not
enjoy fist fights because they hurt!
Unattractive - Head/face slightly
crooked. Could his jaw or cheek
bone have been broken? Is his
left eye socket off kilter? Just enough
to bother, but not repulse,
others.
