SALVATION QUESTION 86

QUESTION 86
Because of God's goodness and mercy will there not be a time when God will eventually save all men?

ANSWER:
Not really. This is being taught by several groups, and especially by Unitarian Universalists. Some even falsely teach that ultimately that Satan himself will be saved. There is ample evidence that all the unsaved, including Satan himself, will suffer and be lost, forever and ever. Consider this verse, "The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." Revelation 14:10-11

. All the unsaved will acknowledge and confess Jesus as Lord, nevertheless, they will not be saved. (Philippians 2:10-11). There is no way out of hell. It is a place of "weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:42 and Matthew 13:50). In (Luke 16:23), the intermediate place of the unsaved states there is no getting out of hell.

It is far better to put your trust in Christ and be saved from your sins today. He cannot save you from hell, without saving you from your sins. " And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21.

When He saves you from your sins, He saves you from the final penalty, which is hell. Do trust Him today?
