After the Rapture of the Church will there be a second chance for those left behind?

This is a rather difficult question and we only have the Bible to find the answer to it.

It would seem from the following verses that those who have heard and understood the gospel will not have another chance. Here are the verses: "And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12. The time frame of these verses is when the man of sin (2 Thessalonians 2:3) reigns. You will also note that those who are damned are those who "received (past tense) and "believed not" (past tense). They had the opportunity but did not receive and believe the truth of God's salvation. It would appear that anyone who doesn't understand the gospel and will not accept Christ, will not have a chance; they will be doomed in that day.

Many are saved today and ready for the coming of the Lord. What about you? Have your received Him? Have you trusted Him?
