PROPHECY QUESTION 29

QUESTION 29
Will Jesus Christ come back to the earth again, since they crucified Him the first time He came

ANSWER:
Before the Lord Jesus left this earth He said He would do three things: When the first was completed, then He began the second. He will not come until the Church is complete. The Second coming of Christ is taught from one end of scripture to the other. It is mentioned more than His first coming, in the Old Testament. His coming is twofold. First He comes for the church, (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). He will take them up to meet Him in the air. All born-again believers will be there. He will come later down to the earth and to Israel. (Revelation 19:11). "And his feet shall stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives,..." Zechariah 14:4. It will be at that time when "they (Israel), shall look on Him whom they have pierced," and will be born-again in a day. Zechariah 12:10 and Isaiah 66:8. They will accept Him as their Messiah and some of them will be saved. He will then set up the promised kingdom upon earth and reign over them forever. "And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His kingdom there shall be no end." Luke 1:33. Then it will be fulfilled: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward me." Luke 2:14.

Dear reader, will you be among the saved? Would you like to live in a place of peace and good will? This is all available through the sacrificial work of our Lord Jesus Christ. He died to redeem you. (1 Timothy 2:6).

He wants you to trust Him for salvation from sin.
