DOCTRINE QUESTION 79

QUESTION 79:
Why does God let children starve like in third world countries?

ANSWER:
This is often a very puzzling question to many believers and infidels alike. The source and consequences of all suffering, sicknesses and trouble--(John 8:44 and Ezekiel 28:15) Satan's work is to cause of all the trouble he can in God's creation, and then to blame God for it. Notice his trickery in Genesis 3:2 "... "Yea, hath God said."

We are living in a world that is reaping the results (not penalty) of Satan and Adam's sin. It falls on the saved as well as the unsaved. On the innocent as well as the guilty. It is a law of a corrupted cursed creation. So, God does not really ALLOW it at all. It is all part of "cause and effects." Hit your thumb with a hammer and it will hurt. God cannot stop it. There will come a day when there is no more pain, sorrow, suffering and death. (Revelation 21:4) This is reserved for all those who have come as lost sinners to the Lord Jesus Christ and trusted Him as Saviour.

Dear reader, "Will you be there? Have you repent of sin and trusted Him yet?" (Mark 1:15) Only redeemed sinner will be there. (Revelation 5:9)
