to Hall
The HFFDC
recently
finished construction of a 12,000 square foot practice facility. The
facility
was designed, not only to function as a practice facility for the
Corps,
but as a rental facility available to the public.
-
The hall is
rented for
social functions such as weddings, business meetings, showers, dances,
stag & does and fund-raising events.
-
The Main Hall
can hold
up to 425 people as a business meeting room. It can accomodate up
to 300 persons for a licensed function, such a wedding or a dance.
-
There is a
smaller venue,
the "Members' Lounge", which can hold up to 60 people. This room
can be used by members and Corps alumni for parties and
showers.
We also incorporated into the design, a large, full featured kitchen.
-
Available
services include
full, professional catering services for all occasions, disk jockeys,
live
bands, florists and many other features.
-
Many of the
alumni and
membership have taken "Smart-Serve" training and are qualified, and are
available, to work as bartenders and stewards.
The Facility is
conveniently
located on Dartnall Road, which is one of eastern-most exits off the
new
Lincoln Alexander Expressway. Out-of-town access is easy from
Centennial
Parkway (Hwy. 20), from the East; and from Hwy. 403 (Ancaster), from
the
West.
