Ontario, Canada, Overtaken By Pack Of Perfiders!

Premier elect is a golf pro with a bad slice.

image M ike Harris is Ontario's brand new conservative premier. He won by a landslide. The man is swerving so far to the right he is scraping the median. Ontario's voters swept him and his gang of cronies into office on a wave that originated in the big country which lies below Canada (who's name escapes me at this time). Is this at all like those stupid waves that spectators of major sports events do?

I firmly believe that these men will cause death and despair in our communities with their American dance steps. One of the first acts of the new attorney general was to come out "hard line" on Native issues. He had his chance one month into the job at a blockade in northern Ontario at Ipperwash. Dudley George died in a hail of gunfire from the Ontario Provincial Police. The Natives are calling it murder, noting that the victims were unarmed. These cartoons are a little shot at some very big ugliness here in Canada.

N o I am not exaggerating -- the pack of neer-do-wells and lap-dogs that our new premier has surrounded himself with are parodies of themselves. Take Tsbouchi our social services/welfare minister. Him and Mike just slashed 22% off of every monthly welfare cheque. Tsbouchi likes to show off by driving his corvette around Toronto in his spare time. His big claim to fame is his halting explanation of just where people are going to get food with $90 a month to spend. "Haggle with store owners", he said..then for good measure he suggested they "buy in bulk", (don't you need capital for that?), and "eat 69 cent cans of Tuna". image Tuna costs twice that here in Ontario. After receiving a dressing down in the press Tsbouchi decided to hire a consultant to go out and make a real grocery list for welfare moms. The final list included bread with no butter, pasta but no sauce, a big chunk of baloney, and somehow 4 pieces of boneless chicken breast for $2.68 (More like $7.00),no tea coffee or other "luxuries". It was meagre but it all came in at under $92. He hasn't explained yet what to do at Christmas when money pressures are at the maximum. Then there are the 5 week months to deal with. I think the philosophy is,"Let them eat cake"image

P erhaps before the end of the year we will see the kind of crime that US cities enjoy. Our Medicare system may go down the toilet. We will need big collateral (like a house to mortgage) before we can go to the private clinic for surgery. No money?-- put your family in paralyzing debt (if you can) or die. Just ask any American what its like to be sick stateside. Don't ask Newt Ging-grinch and other rich American though. They like user fees just fine.

O ur new education minister is a peach. He dropped-out of school in grade ten. He has never had kids. He has had zero experience in the field of education. Just the man for the job of destroying our schools and Universities. Then there is the fate of hospitals. Major surgery. What else is there? Oh dear, we haven't heard from the environment minister YET.

image T his is the American way eh? March to the beat of the wall street drummers. (Our masters voice). Isn't it a bit strange that the poor have been slashed to pay the "runaway debt" but not the rich who created it in the first place? There must be some money around though. Mike Harris just put over a million dollars worth of security upgrading in the legislature ... to keep the poor out.

Just in time for Christmas
