Welcome to the Maritime Fishermen's Union (MFU) Local 6 home page. At a time when keeping informed is so important, we believe that this site will benefit our members and others interested in what is happening within the commercial fishing industry. Anything that affects us, primarily inshore fishermen, affects the whole industry. So, take your time to explore our site by following the appropriate links.

Please note: As of Sept. 2010, this site will be updated over the ensuing couple of months after a period of inactivity. Local 6 apologizes to all its members and any visiting guests for this lapse in keeping all interested parties up to date on fisheries news and issues as they affect commercial inshore fishermen.
