Hi, and welcome to The Official John Buscema Website! Before John Buscema contacted me and asked if I wanted to work with him on the commission stuff, this site was called the Unofficial John Buscema Website and Trading Post. We added the Trading Post thing to it, because of my hope that once other John Buscema out there discovered the website, they might be interested in trading photocopies of their John Buscema art with me. Most of the copies of John's breakdowns & full pencils you see on this site were obtained by me through trades; either with other fans of John's work that I met online or with pros that I bumped into at comic cons who were also big fans of John's drawing. I find trading xeroxes of John's stuff fun & a great way to enlarge both my collection of his work & a chance to see John's pencils BEFORE they were ruined by a virtual horde of dopey inkers who should never have been allowed anywhere near Johnny B.'s pencils!!!! Anyhoo, if you have any John Buscema artwork, either original or copies of it, and and you are interested in trading photocopies for some of the stuff you see on the site, just e-mail me and let me know what you got!
