PROPHECY QUESTION 7

QUESTION 7
The Bible does not mention "the rapture." Why then is it being taught?

ANSWER:
The Bible often teaches far more than it says. For example: the word "trinity" is not mentioned in the entire Bible, yet it is taught from Genesis 1:1 right through to the last book. The word "substitution" is not mentioned but it is clearly taught that Christ took our place and died for our sins. The word "rapture" has a two fold meaning; "to seize and to carry away by force." It also means "a state of great delight." This describes very well the Bible teachings of the "Rapture of the Church." "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain will be "CAUGHT UP" (same meaning as the word rapture]) together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. These verses alone, clearly teaches "the rapture."

There are seven raptures in the Bible: The Bible clearly teaches "The Rapture." Are you ready? If you have never bowed as a sinner before the cross of the Saviour, or have never trusted in Him; you are not ready! Trust Christ today.
