QUESTION 5:
Should a woman preach in the church and will she go to hell if she does?

ANSWER:
I think you will agree that we should live by what the Word of God says. It is amazing how we all like to fit the Scriptures into what we believe instead of fitting our beliefs into them.

The Bible is clear on this. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 1 Corinthians 14:34. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Timothy 2:11-12 In the following verses Paul give two reasons.

1. Adam was formed first and is the federal head of the woman and race.
2. She was the first one who sinned. Verse 13.14

God is a God of order. A brief knowledge of nature is ample evidence to support that. The woman (Eve) got out of order in listening to Satan and eating of the forbidden fruit. Man follow and he was then out of order with God. This order is only seen as restored in the local churches. 1 Corinthians 11:3.... give us an example of heads in the Church God, the head of Christ, Christ, the head of man and man the head of the woman. The woman give place to her head, the man. The man give place to his Head, Christ and Christ give place to God, His Head. The angels behold that order, 1 Corinthians 11:101 (margin) Will such a woman go to hell if she does? Absolutely not. If any wrong would send a person to hell we would all go there. What sends a sinner to hell it their lack of repenting of their sins and trusting the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour from those sins. He alone can make us ready for the presense of an Holy God. His sacrifice alone can abolish all our sins. Man is deceived in thinking they are not too bad and God will have mercy on them in that day, but that is impossible for God to do. Sin must be put away. We cannot do it. The Bible says, “. . . .and without shedding of blood is no remission” Hebrews 9:22 The blood shed of Christ will take your sins awaay when you trust Him. Will you do it?
