It is being taught that God is all through with Israel and Israel now is the Church. What does the Bible teach?

ANSWER:
God has made an everlasting covenant with Abraham and his seed (Genesis 17:7) and the land of Palestine. He had added to that, another everlasting covenant about a kingdom and throne to David. (2 Samuel 23:5 and Psalm 89:35) God has confirmed both of these with an oath which He will and cannot break. See Psalm 85 and Luke 1:73.

When Jesus was born the New Testament opens with; "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ," the son of David, the son of Abraham. Jesus is vitally connected with these two covenants and came to Israel to confirm them. Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: Romans 15:9. He is the son of David that will sit on his throne and rule over Israel. Luke 1:32-33. "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end." Though Israel nationally rejected Jesus as their Messiah, He will be received of them when He comes again. Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

God is faithful. His very character and integrity depends on Him keeping His promises and covenants with Israel. He will not fail. Do not be lead astray with this false teaching. He will keep His promises to Israel. He is also faithful to John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
