Is it really true that the days of miracles have past?

ANSWER:
Apparently the questioner is inquiring about the miracles that we read about during the life of Christ and the apostles when on earth. Those miracles were of a special class and are over.

God works at different times in different ways. Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in the last days spoken to us by His Son. In Isaiah 35 we read of special miracles in the kingdom age to come. When Jesus came He came as the King of the Jews. He offered the kingdom to them saying, "...the kingdom is at hand..." (Mark 1:15) There were special miracles that were associated with the coming kingdom. His answer to John the Baptist inquiry whether He was the true Christ or not was; "Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them." Matthew 11:4-5. You can read about these in Isaiah 35. John would understand what He meant.

The twelve disciples were anointed with special gifts, along with Paul also. They are called the signs of an apostle in 2 Corinthians 12:12. These sign gifts and miracles were to confirm the spoken words of the Lord Jesus to them until the written words of the New testament. Hebrews 2:3-4, "How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him, God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will"

Just as God perform special miracles in the Exodus by Moses, so He did in the early Church Age by the apostles. However, let us not conclude by these miracles that the days of miracles are over. God is still on the throne and is every bit God. He never changes and is able to do exceeding abundant above all that we can ask or think.(Ephesians 3:20)

Being born again is the greatest miracle of all. Have you trust Christ? Are you born again?
